Clothing Sorter

Service Description

• Volunteers will help sort our clothing donations and accessories by categorizing according to size, gender and sale items such as vintage or other clothing, not appropriate for business attire.
• The primary duties will include sorting appropriate business attire as stated and also involve steam pressing, stocking clothing racks and filling clothing requeset orders.
• Volunteers will work at our Downey Distribution Center location.
• Regular maintence of the clothing boutique and sorting rooms.

Skills Required

• Enjoys organizing, cleaning and sorting clothes
• Helps to know clothing labels and designers, but not required
• Be able to distinguish between business and casual clothing
• Ability to reach and lift up to 20 lbs and stand on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to take measurements
